It’s not the Task that needs to be removed, but the Anxiety behind the task.

The Task itself is fine, but its the Anxiety behind the stress that needs to be removed. That Anxiety that causes you to not fall asleep, the one that lingers in your head, the feeling that “something needs to get done” is the issue at hand that needs to be removed.

I’ve been experiencing this a lot lately because as it stands right this second, I have about 18 things on my to do list 😞 comprising of things that need to be done regarding my Book, my wedding, money making deals and a slew of things that is needed for my life and for my business.

I realized this morning in my readings that it isn’t the task at hand, but the anxiety behind the task that causes this uneasy feeling. How do I remove them? How do I get myself out of this anxious feeling and get back to on track? Here’s what I came up with:

1. Separate the Task from the Anxiety
Understand that the Task itself has its own force, it’s own “energy” going upward if you may while the anxiety itself is opposite – going down. Seeing these two things as “separate entities” allows me to recognize the difference in their force and thereby be able to consciously decide on a logical choice as to which one I want to go with.

2. Decide on your Commitments
Who am I committed to? Am I committed to the Task at hand that I know will help me fulfill my dreams? Or am I committed to the anxiety that will lead me down the spiral of doubt?
Seeing them as two separate entities is allowing me to revitalize my Commitments. Am I here to accomplish and be the best that I can be or am I here to dwell and sit on the agony of the task?
When I look at it this way, the choice becomes easy.

3. Bump up your Trust
Once I get to this stage that I see my Task separate from my Anxiety and distinguish the difference in their energy, and as I consciously make a decision as to who I’m committed to – the only item left to do for me is to bump up my Trust that everything is happening for a reason, that I am exactly where I need to be and that the task at hand will get done when it needs to get done.

It’s not the task, but the anxiety behind the task that needs to be addressed.

Trust in God, know that you are where you are because that is where exactly you need to be.
Trust in the Process, know that for as long as you stay committed to your Task, to your Dreams, all things will get done in accordance to that energy coming from your Trust.

The coolest part out of all of this is as I was driving to my office, one of the 18 tasks at hand got done without me moving a muscle. One of the deals I was waiting for emailed me on their own stating their agreement to my proposal.

Trust and Lean on your commitment to God and to your Dreams as the more you lean on them, the lesser you lean on anything else that’s going the opposite way.
